I agree with your track, and like both vendors are on track. A nice intake (we prefer the Roto Fab), a good set of headers (Kook's is our favorite and is simply one of the best fitting/assembled set of headers you'll find) and then...
GET A TUNE! You will always get the best results out of any upgrade if you get a tune done by a good tuner. There are several across the country and I'm sure a good one (or two or three) in your area.
