I would first check with the building code office to see which is required. Also if they have to be on 16" or 24" centers. Also make it a little bigger that is kind of small. It will fill up faster with stuff than you think.
Mark out a section 16x24 where your going to build it and and park your car in it. This will give you some idea the room in it once the car is in it.
