Today I announce my retirement from General Motors.

There’s a time for everything – and I’ve had a great 38 year run doing what I loved most in this world – working with the people within the GM Family (and that means the customer, first and foremost….) I’ve given it a lot of thought and am going to listen to seven Doctors who tell me that I need to worry about my health first……..and so it’s time to move on to another part of my life by retiring. (not sure what the effective date is, though…..)

Is making the choice hard to do? You bet. I loved nothing more than getting together with our enthusiasts and supporters and just ‘talking shop’ – but then I guess I can STILL do that – just in a different light, so to speak.

And of course there was (and is) nothing better than working on the Legendary Chevy Camaro as a small part of “Team Camaro.”

Thanks to all of you who welcomed me into your clubs and families and groups over the years and making me feel like one of the family. You’re simply the best people in the world……….and thanks to the members of ‘Team Camaro’ for allowing me to go along for one heck of a thrill-ride………………..
