I would have the blower ported since it's coming off anyways. (since you are spending money, do it right the first time. (just my opinion) But nothing wrong with your route if money is a factor.



Trade the metco pulley for a griptec pulley.



Doing mods to get more air into the engine, but, no mods to get the extremely hot air out of the engine. (cat delete, headers)? I would throw on some headers as step 1.



Most Important; What is your shop going to do to the fuel system to maintain fuel pressure with that upper pulley? (Chevrolet didn't give us very much room to grow with the stock system) Something you could ask them about and see what they offer
