I'll +1 to the complaints on the roads around Indy.


I drive ALOT( passenger vehicle). Driven from:
Houston, TX to Fargo, ND Twice
Houston, TX to Billings, Montana
Houston, TX to Jacksonville, FL to Pittsbugh, PA to Menphis, TN back to Htown
Buffalo, NY to Sarnia, Ontario to Detroit, MI
Edmonton to Ft McMurry (forgot the province)
Pugent Sound, WA to Springfield, OR

and ALL OVER Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.


That said, worst roads (freeways) list in order worst to not as horrible in the US from my experience:
1 Louisianna
2 Indiana
3 West Viginia / North Dakota


Best?
1 Wyoming
2 Montana
3 Texas

After living in both Dakota for three years ...you are crazy. Roads are not bad up there at all
