Interesting data for you guys:
The core set of heads that I chose to use for my build were factory GMPP CNC LS9 heads. I chose to CNC port these heads using our Katech port to see what would clean up (if any at all). We blue'd the cylinder ports and ran the program. The result showed that the Katech port not only has a better surface finish than the GMPP cylinder heads, but it also cleaned up nearly 80% of the GM CNC'd ports.
The Katech ports are larger, and have a better surface finish.
Note: This is not the final product, the heads still need to be decked, valve jobbed, and blended.
