Finished the valve train tear down today and found 3 more bearings with slop in them. Found a new set of rockers with the bushing kit already installed from Steve Morris Engines. Nothing against the BTR trunnion kit, but as I stated, I will not go back with a bearing. Now, my rockers have 25k on them and that may be the service life limit. My builder has stated that they have see very few failures from the Comp trunnion kit. That may be true; and I have no reason to doubt them; but I feel I could have lost my engine, and I should do everything possible to avoid more problems.
