After I did my SS driveline swap
. I also took the time to install my Hex Vents! I couldn't believe I was drilling and cutting my own hood, but Steve's instructions are fantastic. To fit the whipple I positioned the vents 1/2 inch wider and 1/2 inch farther back. I'm happy with the way they turned out. I'm hoping they help reduce a little lift during my mile event...last year the car was floating at 180, so if I get near my goal I'm sure she'll be a little light on her toes!
I'm still waiting on some color match trays, so these pics don't have trays...I ended up plasti-dipping the stainless trays, but I rushed it, and not happy how it turned out...
