You will have a blast.
At the HPDE days at Gingerman they usually do Point to Pass on specific straight sections.
You check your mirrors on the straights for faster cars behind. Then on those straights, you hold your line and point left or over your roof to the right. The passing car then goes around you on the side you pointed.
They'll explain the Point to Pass in the driver's meeting. Might be some variations depending on the run group beginner through advance. But, the point to pass works real well at that track.
