I always feel stupid saying this because I know it's meant for the V8's, but try pulling fuse 5 and 20 for at least a couple hours. Most will say over night, but you should disconnect the battery too, because you will most likely get a check engine light after you put them back in. Your car will relearn its fuel map. Also pull your air filter while waiting and make sure it's clean. If not replace or if it's a cai, then recharge it.

I just did this to mine after a few maintenance items and changing the plugs. To my butt and foot, it definitely feels better again. My avg mpg came back up from all of it too...
