Cause if a V6 owner had a question that could also relate to a V8 owner but posted it in the V6 section, a V8 owner may never see it or find it if he/she has that same question or problem.

This. There are already V6 and V8 sections in the technical section. The reason the ZL1, convertible, and Z28 (if their ever is one) is because they are all structurally different from the current V6/V8 models.
