I have a 2014 Spring Special Edition 2SS RS Camaro. As with most Special Editions it comes with the 21 inch rims, although they look nice tire choice is poor and the only options I have been given at local places are OEM tires (Pirelli) and those tires are nearly $600/ea and only last 10-14k miles with GOOD driving.

The stock tire size is...

FRONT: 245/40-21
REAR: 275/35-21

My question is, can I install different sizes without issue? Specifically smaller sidewall?

The tires I was looking at was the Hancook Ventus V12 Evo 2. I have had the Evo K110 before on another Camaro and they are very similar to the Pirelli. The sizes available that are closest to OEM spec are....

FRONT: 245/35-21
REAR: 275-30-21

Basically the tires would be 5 less on the sidewall. Is this a big deal?

Any help/info/guidance is greatly appreciated.
