Best to always measure push rods (even stock ones) with a push rod checker when a new cam or heads are installed. Every aftermarket cam I've installed has a smaller base circle than stock. Incorrect push rod length can cause the dreaded "LS sewing machine sound". Also, every stock LS PR I've measured (going back to the LS1 days to now) has always been 7.37 to 7.38" when using a digital micrometer. The LS7 does have a longer length factory PR.
