Method 2 always seems to over boost in our trials. M 1 will still help response. The eboost can be set to start cycling the solenoid at different boost pressures. Until it hits that psi setting,it will keep the solenoid from bleeding boost to the WG. Profec B's and other systems have a setting like this. We find that method two really works well on small displacement high boost applications, while the recycle effect helps stabilize the WG at high pressure and it seems at lower pressures higher cubic inch engines to hang the gate open longer.
