I have a black 1LE and I don't know whether to go ahead and install ZL1 side rockers or not. In some pictures I see, the look is 100% perfect, in others it seems as though the rear diffuser is lacking or unfinished. On the ZL1, the black trim goes all the way around the diffuser (body colored portion) so the look is "finished". And I don't want to install the ZL1 rear diffuser so that isn't an option

. The front has the splitter and the look continues with the ZL1 side rockers and then from the Goodyears back, the lower black trim disappears

I've watched the video posted on youtube a few times and the install seems straight forward, but I'm terrified of scratching the paint. Is it pretty easy if you take your time? Is there a time during the stock side rocker removal that the chance of scratching is high? Popping the clips at the front or the rear???
