The blind spot mirros and front end collision are already on most vehicles out there as an option, so don't be suprised if GM follows suit. I guess you can argue the same thing about a Sunroof being an option too right? lol.

The problem is though that options are only partially paid for in the specific option price the rest goes into the base price of all the trim levels where it is available.
