Front strut bolt torque procedure??? Sounds weird to me..

It says in the manual to torque the 24mm nut to 59 ft lbs and then to turn it another 180 degrees?????????? WHY? Why not just give it one torque spec and be done with it??????

Also......watching this video they spin the nut 180 degrees but it looks like they are not holding the 24mm bolt head??? So wouldn't the bolt just spin 180?

Does't make sense to me.....does anyone know the correct procedure and why they do it this way????
