Camaro is quiet until about 2500rpm. After 300rpm it is plenty loud inside the cabin and at WOT its very loud.
Some people want a loud car all the time, others prefer something reasonably quiet for driving around town or in the neighborhood.

It must be the LS3's because my L99 is very quiet. Even running wide open its not very loud. I can rev it to 5000rpms in the driveway and its just not loud at all.
I know the L99's have two extra resonators and that's probably why. Its really quiet.
