They originally planned to add G8 production to Oshawa after launch and depending on demand. The G8 is a hit, so maybe they can return to that idea. Perfect assembly companion (siblings).
And Oshawa can build FWD or RWD, so maybe some future FWD vehicle. There's no easy solution and it's nobody's fault, simply extreme market and financial changes in a super short period of time.
