3500 miles. It was just a convenient time to do it because I had the exhaust off and based on many posts here as well as my desire to beat the crap out of my car I went for it.
Like others, it was thick, black, and lots of metal shavings on the plugs. I took it out tonight for the first time since doing it and my exhaust to do some figure 8's. No noise and it seem to run pretty well.
