Honestly, I would rather have camaro5.com and camaro6.com not do that. Of course, links to camaro6.com on camaro5.com and vice versa would be totally fine, but I think that since it is a different gen and a most likely a pretty different car, that it would be a different website. That way the two sites stay less convoluted.
Otherwise everything just kind of starts overlapping and gets very confusing. For example, I went on a honda civic forum and noticed how confusing the forum was because of all the gens supported on that forum and thus all the sections within sections within sections.
