It's been right around 50 years since the last time I did a burnout. With more smoke generated than in either of the above videos out of a full size intermediate sedan (automatic) with only a 230 HP (gross, at the crank) 2-barrel engine . . . there just hasn't been anything left to prove here, nowhere to go but down. All technique.
These days, I'd rather scrub the tread off my car's tires going 'round corners on a road course. 20 minutes of fun at a time > 20 seconds.
