My GF just turned over 23k Miles! It’s a beautiful car and I love to drive it, not let it sit in the dark or in a museum. It’s been cammed with GPI’s VVT SS1 (props to GPI, great products and tuning), ported and polished heads, CAI, headers, Solos XL exhaust, Circle D 3800 stall, and more. Dyno’d at 455/418 and have gotten it into the low 12’s while on the stock 21” tires!
I intend to keep my GF and even though I’ve modded the engine and drivetrain the exterior is stock and kept pristine. I love that it turns heads on appearance alone, but when I start it up and they here that wicked cam lope it draws a second level of attention. My wife and I love it!
Get a VVT cam, it’s broadens the power band. IMO converting an L99 to an LS3 is just fear of VVT technology. Leverage it and have fun!
