Aluminum housing, steel nipple - should be able to heat aluminum housing with small butane torch and rotate the nipple.
I woudl stick a deep snug fit socket on it and try rotating.. may be a light press fit, otherwise, bit of heat will help.
Before any of that.. wait for their feedback.. they may just ship you the correct fitting part and return tag for misconfigured original.
