GM not only uses the new SAE procedure, it was Dave Hill (Corvette Chief Engineer) who stongly promoted it as the industry standard.
If you recall back when this happened, many Toyota engines (and others) were lowered.
Dave got sick and tired of people over rating HP so GM no longer over or under rates HP. If you look at the new SAE procedure you will see that it is witnessed and authenticated. No BS.
