If they put Nav, that is a one time charge when the car is purchased instead of a ongoing monthy income.
Factory nav has crazy markup with $2k+ for less than $500 in parts ($100 screen, $100 nav, $300 to integrate it all with the vehicle), it would take more than a decade of Onstar Nav make up the difference. GM is big on their Onstar system but they still sell plenty of standard nav systems, the thing is the Camaro's dash would require more rework than normal to fit a nav screen and make it look decent. If GM goes for a refresh at the 4-5 year mark I expect they'll add a nav option, if they are planning to jump to a new platform like Alpha as some reports claim that quickly then I doubt they'll put the time into adding a factory nav system when they already have the Onstar Nav.
