Before you start toying with lower octane gas I would reccommend you read the article on the hompage titled "Underperforming L99 engine Camaros : problem, diagnosis, and cure" Not sure, but a lot of people have had a serious issue with power and 6 second 0-60 times instead of 4.3-4.6. GM has officially announced that the cars are recomputing to operate "safer" with the lower octane which is resulting in a "SLOW CAMARO" I hope this helps but I know the few dollars extra are not going to hold me back from 92 octane.
