Yes but I only need the base circuit board.

I access the firmware IC directly to read/backup or change.
I don't really care about making money from this. I just like to
DIY my own stuff and its even a greater challenge when someone
like GM try's to lock us out of our own equipment.

There are two methods of doing this.... my way accessing through a hardware back door or the factory method.
Now the factory method can be somewhat diy as well.
You buy one of these little guys "VXDIAG VCX Nano GDS2 and Tech2Win Diagnostic Programming System for GM/Opel" it will mimic the factory GM programming tool for a fraction of the cost. You will still have to pay for logging onto GM's network to use the tool.
