For me, the foam gun is more about common sense. Do you drag a wash mitt across a car with dirt matted to the finish or do you come across that finish with the dirt lubricated and soaked away from the finish? Which option will most likely create swirls and scratches? It's such a no brainer that I can't see why anyone who has ever heard of a foam gun and what its purpose is, doesn't have one if they actually care about their car's finish.

Baffling!
