Bought a 2016 Cruze in the spring to eventually replace our 2002 Saturn SL2. I love the tight and light feel of the first Gen Cruze. The steering is very nice and the body stucture is solid. The Cruze steering wheel is very similar to the 2012 & up Gen 5. I bought another 1LE steering wheel, put the new one on my Camaro and took my old one and installed it on the Cruze. Interesting find, the OE 1LE one was in pretty good shape after 24k miles. i always clean it, but I tried the Sonax cleaner and it pulled alot of dirt from the steering wheel. The old wheel was rougher than the new one, probably due to my rough hands, but overall, the microfiber steering wheels age well. Just gotta keep them clean!
