Check your rip settings. Make sure that it's ripping to MP3 and not AAC (the default). Other than that... no clue. Maybe it just needs to be re-indexed? I don't have my car or the manual but I would think there's a way to force this. If nothing else, disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to clear the settings should do it.
