Sure thing. Every time I get in the car, I look at the reminder in the upper left hand corner of the windshield

Oil level measures the amount of oil in your engine, where the oil life monitor measures the amount of lubrication left in your oil you have in your engine. Two completely seperate things.

The only reason the sticker says that is because they want your money. Even in the old days the 3,000 miles was for severe use, otherwise it was 5 or 6 thousand miles. The oil life monitor actually measures how you are using your engine so it figures out for you how long it can go between changes. It's science,and it works, You go by the sticker you are wasting your money.
