It comes in at par with:

Lexus NX's 235/258
Which is bottom of the pack. And near the
BMW X3's 248/258

Every other offering in this class, or near to, are notably more powerful, especially on the torque front.
MB GLC300 241/273
Lincoln MKC 245/275
Audi Q5 252/273
Acura RDX 254/273

I assume there will be additional engine offerings later, but it seems odd to know full well what the competition offers and undershoot it. Most others have some nice optional powerplants. For instance MKC offering the updated 285/305 2.3EB, which will likely soon be replaced by the 310/350 version.

XT4 will however be getting the 9sp, so that's cool.
Bottom line, it's a Cadillac. Odd, and probably not needed in the market is Cadillac's calling card for being unique and above any logic in the market place....It's just another SUV for the masses that have to have an SUV.
It will probably sell more units by accident, than for any other real good reason.
