Well I went out and verified it to mine. They seem to be hooked up the same way. I can't see it but I'm assuming that your side port of the can goes to the side port/nipple of your manifold when I say that.

If it were me I would take all the photos to a dealer and show them what you have going on. They should be able to do some testing compression and bleed down test etc. to see what you have going on.

That just doesn't seem right to me and if I were you I would prefer it to get fixed while it's in it's winter sleep rather that lose the good weather for driving. Also time is money when it comes to your Warranty.
