For me, the SS is worth the additional money. The car is a blast to drive. It's the best car I've ever had. By far. IMO, it's not the best choice for a daily driver. I don't want the salt in the winter to ruin it, and I don't want to put snow tires on it, so I don't drive it in winter weather. Gas mileage is OK, but not the greatest. So if you're putting 100 miles a day on it or something, it could get expensive.
