TheShowStopperLFX, for reasons unknown to us, AND some of the folks at Chevrolet Customer Svc, they have not updated the PDIM data base in a LONG time, thus soime dealers will only install what they see in the data base and nothing more. Actually they look at it as a safety net, so if something goes wrong, they won't be at fault. We got the P/N (22797218) from a previous Chevrolet Customer Service rep here on the forum. it WILL work in your car, and will give you the latest/greatest HW/SW versions available. which is DB/DD the P/N you are looking to get will get you the DB/DB HW/SW versions. I did this upgrade nearly two and a half years ago....and my dealer doesn't have their head up someones butt.....thus they installed the 22797218 P/N inder warrante and I have haver had an issue, AND it fixed all of my problems.
