I love my tapshift. If I'm looking for the fastest time like at the dragstrip then I'll let the manual mode shift itself. The computer is faster than the tapshift. BUT, if I'm on the expressway I always use the tapshift. This way I can move in and of traffic at will without the aggrevation of the downshifting of the auto transmission. There is a little lag only when I'm downshifting from a higher gear to a lower but no hesitation shifting up. I like being able to select my own gear to keep my rpms where I want them. Keep in mind that your tapshift will never be just like a clutch and manual. PM me if you have any question.
