taking the bowtie off the heritage grill was a pain in the a$$ for me.

it helps to take off the metal cover that sits right where the hood latch is. you can probably reach your arm behind the grill without the cover.

for me, i couldnt really get my arm behind the grill because i have large forearms. and i couldnt stick my fingers thru the grill either.

in the end, i slid a flat head screw driver between the chrome emblem and plastic mount and pried it off. i worked around all 4 sides to slowly loosen each side. it probably took me 30 minutes of brute force to loosen the emblem from the plastic mount. it was a crude method but it worked.

once the emblem was off, you can just unscrew the mount.
