cool story! I had 2 70's first was a SS 350 no console column shift car bout it from original owner, stock except for a 650 spread bore Holley double pumper(which he disconnected the secondary's-bad mileage) had 12 bolt pegleg 3.07 in it and it got about 20 mpg with the Holley second was an RS car that a buddy in NY has owned since I sold it I actually worked on it last September when I went up to go see the Bills play the Bronco's I did a pedal swap its getting a Tremec 5 speed behind GM crate HT383
don't know what proof besides gas pedal (I thought they had Z28 on cowl tag?) I know more about 69's had another RS/Z a pace car and a 6cyl convert too. looks like a good place to start anyway, what are you planning for it?
