Don't read too much into the specific rpms when these engines make peak torque.

For the LLT in the Camaro, it probably makes within about 15 lb-ft of its max torque from 2500 rpm up to 6000. So the LLT has pretty much the same low end torque that the SRX has, it just doesn't fall off as much in the top end.
