The doors you will have to remove the panel and cut off the plastic rivet heads to get them out. Then you will have to find just the right length screws to reinstall after you paint them. Be VERY CAREFUL if the screws are too long it will go right through the panel into the inside of the car.

This was another reason I went with the gm kit. They provide the right screws to use. Plus there's no way you can make them look like factory if painted. No matter how good you can paint, you will never get the same depth with the clearcoat that the factory does. Because the factory are painted on the back not the front.
