I was taking my Mustang-driving brother-in-law for a ride in my SC'd Camaro. At the top of 2nd gear it just died...I thought..#%@* I blew it up!!

I shifted into 3rd and let out the clutch and it was fine.

As it turns out I think I just hit the rev limiter.

I went up to the next exit turned around and gave it another go and it accelerated up to 130 mph before I let off in 5th gear...which is the fastest I've ever had it (I wasn't watching the speedo and didn't feel nearly that fast when I looked down to see the speed).

Anyone else ever have this momentary scare of thinking you blew it up?
