I agree here, possibly. My Camaro is 12 years old with 129k miles. I do recall on one of my doors, and acouple other areas on the car I do have this same scenario. I was told that it is some seam sealer that had "squeezed" out from between the two panels when they were joined. I just left it alone because I was the only one who knew it was there. I live in Florida and she was a daily driver for 9 of her 12 years, and no rust anywhere..
