Something does not sound right. He has had the car for 5 years. Apparently the OP has been driving the car in the 5 years. GM says the ECU has been wiped clean. What does GM mean by this? The OP states that the car was not modded so there is no reason to clear the ECU out. The ECU should have some data on it for the past 5 years.
