So make a 10" section. or shorten the cutout Y-pipe and the exhaust both to allow it to fit.

REALLY don't want to cut my headers. But we'll see.
I'm not talking about chopping it off at the collector, I'm talking about an inch or two past the o2 sensor.
As the system rises and falls in the center could become a pain to cut out sections. I'll have to look at it.

nah. which catback do you have?
if you have the regular X-pipe version, you should be able to cut a few inches off the "S" pipes on the back side and shorten them up to allow more room.
if you have the ATAK version, you should be able to knock out a section of the straight pipes that run down the driveshaft tunnel.
