I don't know why it had to get so hot right in the middle of two much cooler weeks. Just the luck of the draw I guess. At least there was no rain and we got some good racing in. I agree, I think the heat has a lot to do with crowds at the track. Racing seemed much bigger and more competitive then ever.
I know if the next Fest is in Bowling Green in July or August, I will not be attending. Just to damn hot to hang out at the track all day. I will instead make plans to attend LS Fest in September and the Sturgis Camaro Ralley in the Summer months.
Don't get me wrong BG is a great location for any car event, IT"S JUST TOO DAMN HOT and HUMID
