You can't have... I want the best... but cheap.

If you want an upgrade, call Johnson and ask for the COPO std travel drop ins. There is a reason they are used in the COPO motors. No they are not cheap. Take advantage of someone else's millions in R&D to find the best.

Standard travel if you desire quiet. Short travel if you need every last tenth of a hp, but at a price of a little noise. Carefully choosing the correct pushrod length will also help with less noise/hp/wear.
