They should be two short pipes about 10'' long by 3'' in diameter that connect the Kooks headers to a 3'' aftermarket catback..
If his mids are 3'' to 3'' then they are designed to work with a 3'' aftermarket catback (not the factory exhaust).
My Kooks' mid pipes are 3'' tapered down to 2.5'' so they will work with the stock exhaust or a 2.5'' aftermarket catback. I also have the catted mids. The offroad pipes are louder.
