If you got it from private selling and it's an electrical problem, you should call the person and tell them there's a problem you didn't know about and they should knock a few $$$ off of what you bought it for. Sounds like a serious electrical problem if the center screen isnt lighting up at all when you start it. Are there any chords loose anywhere that are visable?

the screen lites up.. i just didnt try hard enough to figure out how to put the MPH on..
