First question would be why you want to trade a car in with 86k miles for another car with 50k miles. 50k could be a lot of hard mileage on one of these. I would spend the extra 4-5k and you could find a low mileage car and it would be worth it in my opinion.
How much do you owe on the Z-28? I bought my car from a guy who had a lien on it. He paid the note on the car down to what I was paying for it and the bank released the title to me. As long as you sell the car for more than what you owe, it shouldn't be a problem. Just make buyers aware of a lien on the vehicle. What you owe and let them know the bank will mail them title after they pay it off. The bank gets paid off then you pocket the difference.
